2025-2026 PTA Reflections Contest
Get ready to unleash your creativity — the 2025 Hickory PTA Reflections Contest kicks off on September 15, 2025! This year’s theme is "I Belong". Be sure to review the contest rules and guidelines for each category before you submit your work. No names are allowed on the artwork itself. Just fill out the online entry form and upload your artwork following the directions on the form. Entries are due October 12th.

Congratulations to the 2024/25 Hickory PTA Reflections Winners!
Congratulations to all the 2024 Hickory PTA Reflections contest winners! We had our biggest contest yet, with 112 entries in all 6 categories of art: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts.
1st place winners' entries were sent to the Torrance Council of PTAs, to be judged against winners from all other Torrance elementary schools. 1st and 2nd place winners will receive a trophy, a certificate, and a ribbon. 3rd place winners (Honorable Mentions) and all other participants will receive a certificate and a ribbon. Winners will be honored during assembly on Friday, December 13th.
What is Reflections?
Reflections is a National PTA arts recognition program that helps students explore their own thoughts, feelings, and ideas, develop artistic literacy, increase confidence, and find a love for learning.
Every year, students are presented with a new theme. Submissions can be in the form of art work, writing, poetry, any form of artistic expression. Participation is optional, however we encourage all students to participate!
